  • Once a reservation is confirmed, please notify us by email of any cancellation or modification of the booking at least 3 days (72) before arrival for FIT bookings and 14 days before arrival for Group bookings in order to avoid a charge of 1 Night Stay to be imposed.
  • No Show after 24 hours for every room reserved, a 1 night room rate will be charged.
  • Refund is restricted to overpayment or redundant payment caused by technical related glitch during the payment process. If in case of refund, the Product/Services that you purchase may be cancelled, and such cancellation takes effect within the next 24-48 hours through original method of payment. In the event that your account is found involved in any fraudulent transaction(s) we reserve the right at our sole discretion to temporarily suspend your account. Nonetheless, should you face technical problems and need assistance, please contact our staff at “Contact Us” section.
Rules & Regulations
  • Above rates are quoted nett in Ringgit Malaysia, inclusive of 8% government tax. Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
  • Maximum of 2 adults and 2 children below 12 years per room. No additional charges for children under age of 12 years sharing room with parents.
  • Reservations are held until 4:00pm unless guaranteed by Credit Card or Advance Deposit.
  • Check In time is 2:00pm and Check Out time is 12:00pm.
  • Early check-in or late check-out arrangements can be made at applicable charges. Kindly approach our Front Desk.
  • Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given (Hotel policy).
  • Groups, Government & Corporate Rate upon request from management via email or call in.
  • For all reservations, the Hotel requires a deposit for each room being incidental charges upon check in amounting of RM100. Deposit may be placed in cash or on a credit card at check-in time. For deposit using credit card, pre authorization by the Hotel is required.
  • Oceania Hotel enforces a no smoking policy in all guest rooms and enclosed public areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. A cleaning fee of RM500 will be imposed upon the guest(s) concerned should there be smoking.
Our Policy
  • A Tourism Tax of MYR10nett per room, per night applies to foreign passport holders arriving from 1st January 2023 onwards. This is collected by the Hotel on behalf of the government upon check out and is not included in your total room cost.
  • All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted. Guests arriving on or before 31st December 2022 are exempted from Tourism Tax as announced by the Federal Government.
  • Effective 01st March 2024, the SST (Sales & Service Tax) rate in Malaysia will be increased from 6% to 8% as mandated by the Government.
